Maine Kayak Trip : August 7-13, 2005
ArticleID: 277

While the specific details of travel and which outfitter to use are in the works, we to determine interest for this trip. We have identified several outfitters and guides interested in working with us and will be negotiating final prices once we have a good headcount, expect $500-600.00. We’ll take our own camping equipment, and cook our own meals.

We may end up with more than one crew, as the islands off the Maine coast are not supportive of large groups. 10-12 per crew is probably a maximum. So depending on the interest I’m assuming two crews for now.

Minimums: 14 years and older, First Class, Swimming Merit Badge (if you dont have it, get it at Summer camp this summer).

Please indicate interest in this trip by having your parents sign this formand returning it with a $50 deposit to the permission slip bin at the troop meeting by March 8.
